Marcus Williams
Director of Football Operations

Bio

Marcus Williams earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at University of Phoenix and a graduate of The University of Montana Western School of business, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. When he entered into this business, his main goal was to help people become self-sufficient instead of doing everything for them. He wanted to help them understand the business; what is overtly hyped fantasy and what is reality.

Assuring his clients understanding of how the business works, allows them the opportunity to focus on playing the game. If athletes do not understand how sports business works, then “the agent" can only identify the problems and not help solve them. He was a four year letterman in football and was a member of the 04-05 Frontier conference Co-champion football team at Western Montana. He is now the Director of Football Operations & Agent Services for SMWW and a certified NFLPA Contract Advisor.

He spent more than 400 hours interning with SMWW’s agency before coming on full time in 2006 as the Assistant Director of Football Operations to 8 Year NFL veteran Matt Brock. He has facilitated numerous playing transactions at the NFL level as well multiple CFL transactions. He has also spent more than 1,000 hours translating the National Football Leagues' collective bargaining agreement. Ultimately, he is a sports agent advisor with a goal of directing the growth of the SMWW football division. He came to Sports Management Worldwide with a sound ethical compass and a strong belief that anything can be accomplished through focus and perseverance.
